Electrician in Camdenton, Missouri
Camdenton is about forty minutes north of our shop and we're up that way regularly. Lake property brings its own set of electrical problems — long underground runs down to the water, docks that have been added onto three times by three different people, and houses that sit empty half the year and then get asked to run everything at once over a holiday weekend.
What we do in Camdenton
A lot of what we get called for in Camden County is work somebody did themselves a while back. Undersized feeders to a dock or a boathouse, missing ground-fault protection where water and electricity meet, outbuilding subpanels with the neutral and ground bonded where they shouldn't be. It's fixable, and it's worth fixing — especially anything touching a dock, where a wiring fault is genuinely dangerous to anyone swimming.

- Lake home panel upgrades and long underground feeder runs

Common Questions
Camdenton questions
Do you work on boat docks at Lake of the Ozarks?
Yes. Dock wiring, shore power circuits, ground-fault protection, lighting and repairs to bring an older dock back into compliance. Several of the lake fire protection districts require a dock electrical inspection when a property changes hands, and we do the corrective work that inspection turns up. More on dock wiring here.
How far is Camdenton from your shop?
About forty minutes from Lebanon. We're in Camden County often enough that it's a normal service area for us, not a special trip. Call 417-588-3497 and we'll tell you what day we can be there.
Can you check the wiring on a lake house before I buy it?
We can walk the panel, the service, the outbuildings and the dock and tell you in plain language what you're looking at and roughly what it would cost to put right. That's not a formal home inspection, but for the electrical side it's usually more useful than one.
